Following a meeting at Cawston Village Hall on Thursday 20^th April 2006 the CAWSTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY was formed.
The committee met for the first time on Thursday 4^th May at Jean’s home with refreshments kindly supplied, thank you Jean!
The inaugural meeting of the society was held on Thursday 15^th June at the Cawston Village Hall.
The committee would like to thank everyone for a well supported evening and the donations received

Entry to each meeting will be 50p for members & £1.50 for non members to cover hire of the Village Hall and refreshments.

Wanted:-History and Photos etc always wanted

Property Owners.
If you are selling or buying a property in the Parish of Cawston could you please ask for the old deeds as they are not now required and could be destroyed.

The Cawston Historical Society would be like to have sight of them to copy for our records, or if you do not need them we would be very much like to store them in the Cawston archive with any photos or information for the benefit of present and future generations.
