28/11/1981:-Cawston had its own carol to celebrate Christmas, Kevin Cook 18,
who was the Church organist and in charge of about 20
choristers aged from 9 to 16 and studying for his A Levels at Norwich City
College, decided to write two carols, record them and give any money made to the
Church Organ repair fund. Carols called "Noel-Noel
and The Message" were
a village project using singers from the St. Agnes' Church choir and
local musicians. The record sold for £1.25p each.
