1930 Left by Horse ?, Centre:- Mr Bruce Rogers Father of John in Pram.
In the
early days fruit would go on over night train and be on London market by 9am the
next
morning, later on a large van was used instead of horse and cart and fruit was
taken
to
Norfolk Fruit Growers at Wroxham for distribution. The fruit baskets were loaded
onto
pallets
and then "racked" into the van.
(Crops were Blackcurrants, Redcurrants, Strawberries and Raspberries).
