Counselling
Directory
The purpose of the site is ultimately to provide the UK with a huge counselling
support network, enabling those in distress to find a counsellor close to them
and appropriate for their needs. This is a free, confidential service that will
hopefully encourage those in distress to seek help. The website also contains a
number of sections on emotional disorders (types of distress section) and
provides some useful statistics. Every counsellor on the site who has submitted
their profile has either sent a copy of their qualifications and insurance cover
to us, or is registered with a professional body online with recognised codes of
ethics and practice, this way we can be assured of their professionalism.
This web site could be a useful resource for those looking for support or
general advice about counselling. Here is the page that links directly through
to the counsellors listed in Norfolk

Norfolk Hospice
At the Norfolk Hospice our purpose is to help people facing life-limiting
illness by providing professional care and much needed support to their
families. We work closely with other providers in the area, such as hospital
doctors and Macmillan nurses, GPs, community nurses, social workers and other
voluntary organisations to offer a range of holistic care and therapies.
In continuing to
improve and update our services, the Norfolk Hospice is proud to launch its
new web-site. We hope that it will add to the already excellent services we
provide and establish ourselves as a leading provider of palliative care.
