Cawston is a large village situated within very easy reach of "The Fine City of Norwich", the Norfolk Broads, King's Lynn and the coast road to Great Yarmouth. It can also boast to having many historic places of interest nearby including Blickling Hall. (See Area Attractions links page) Looking through our Photos and History pages, like many other villages, Cawston has changed with the closure of shops and public houses, but still has much to offer, being an active village having St. Agnes, a 14th century historic Church with Hammer Beam Roof, VC Primary School, Cawston Heath, The Village Hall which joins the large playing field. The Bell Inn with restaurant and Bed & Breakfast, Londis Shop with Post Office, Papers, Lottery & Off Licence etc. All Things Nice with Cafe, Deli and Patisserie etc. Woodrow Service Station, Repairs and MOTs. Broadland Winery a large employer and many more businesses operating in and from Cawston including units at the Station Yard and Chapel Street.
Cawston also enjoys many organisations and with continued support with the addition of new houses and industrial units, Cawston will continue to be catered for and with many social activities.
